Today a Pharmacist is much more than someone who just prepares and dispences drugs and medicatins. Now you can walk into almost any pharmacy and ask the pharmacist questions on ailements and what they might suggest. This can sometiemes result in being told to visit your GP, but for more bothersome problems, Pharmacists are now qualified to recognise many common symptoms.
What is a Pharmacist?
The traditional role of a Pharmacist is the one we see every time we visit the pharmacy - someone who is busy preparing medications for individuals who have been to see their GP or who have a prescription that requires dispensing. The role requires someone who must pay special attention to what is being prepared and who is happy dealing with customers on a day to day basis.
